Callao, Va.: April 3rd, 2011. Westmoreland Players theater-goers who loved Annie will have a chance to hear Margaret Bushman ---she played Grace---perform when she and partners celebrate "Love Gone Wrong" at the Callao theater Sunday April 17th.

Margaret - with her sister Sarah and friend Mick Anderson - will run through a poignant collection of oldies, goldies and pops reminding us that Cupid's arrow doesn't always run straight.

Margaret Bushman of King George

Players' artistic director Glenn Evans, asked Margaret to put a program together following the warm audience reaction to her Annie contribution at the theater last summer.

Their program will draw in a selection of familiar standards from Broadway shows - but will also dip into Opera and comedy. The trio are all operatically-trained vocalists and they'll be accompanied by Annie musical director Leslie Park.

With so many things going wrong these days, why target romantic bumps on the road to romance?

"It turns out there's a whole lot of songs, ballads and catchy standards that are the product of love going off track" says producer Cheryl Putruskie.

"When you pull them together, which is what we're doing here, you get a really nice memorable show. It'll tear at heart-strings, but also revive memories of tunes people will recognize."

"Love Gone Wrong" is the third in the Westmoreland Players Performing Arts Series this year.

The idea is to bring talent from all over to the Callao location to perform between the major stage shows. "This is one where we're blessed in having home-grown talent to celebrate,' Petruskie says.

As always with Players productions, ticket info. can be obtained on www.westmorelandplayers.org, or by calling (804) 529 9345. The show will begin at three pm. On Sunday, April 17th. Tickets are $15, $10.
