The Westmoreland Players is very excited about the musical production for the 2024-2025 season, The Addams Family! The show is set to run February 14th through March 2nd, 2025. In preparation for the vocal singing portion of the audition, we will be holding rehearsal workshops on Sunday, September 8th and Sunday, September 15th, both from 2pm to 7pm.
IMPORTANT NOTES: These workshops are NOT the formal audition (the formal audition is October 4-6).
These workshops are NOT a requirement for casting in the show (although they could help improve one’s audition prep). They are simply a practice opportunity, and an opportunity for music Q&A, with the music director, Kelly Wright, so as to better prepare everyone to show their full singing potential at auditions!
Those interested in attending the workshop should plan to attend at least one, or both, of the two Sunday afternoons (as we will be covering all audition selections on both Sundays).
Those interested in attending either workshop must
1.) fill out this form, and
2.) listen/sing through your intended audition song(s) to the best of your ability. Please click this link to access the YouTube playlist of the musical selections.
Character roles, and their respective audition selections, are included in this form. If you are interested in auditioning, but not entirely sure about character/song choice, please make a best guess (this will help us with rehearsal planning).
The deadline to submit this form is WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 28th.
