Please Note: The Westmoreland Players are excited to welcome audiences back to the Players Theatre. To increase safety while we enjoy live theatre again, we have made some adjustments:
- On February 25, 2022, the CDC modified its classification of the counties of the Northern Neck with respect to the risk of COVID transmission, and modified its guidance regarding the wearing of masks. Accordingly, The Westmoreland Players are no longer requiring that masks be worn in the theatre. Audience members may choose to wear a mask based on personal preference. Consistent with CDC guidance, persons with a high risk for illness, such as immunocompromised persons or persons with an underlying medical condition, should consult with their health care provider and consider wearing a mask.
- We encourage social distancing as much as possible inside the theatre. When space is available, an opportunity will be given before each performance begins to move to an area of the theatre where each ticket holder feels most safe.
- More frequent cleanings have been adopted in our building.
- Any ticket holder who is feeling any symptoms or who has been exposed to infection is asked to stay home. If you miss a performance for which you were booked, we will work with you to exchange the tickets for a later performance or refund the ticket price.
